Stay up to date with CSSC

17th Feb 2023

With CSSC, you can save on days out, experiences, gym memberships, dining in or out, holidays, sports and everything you need to lower your household bills and increase your health and wellbeing. In fact, we offer over 4,200 ways to save, whether on your weekly grocery shop or your once-in-a-lifetime holiday. That’s a different saving every day for 11 years.

But with so many ways to benefit from your CSSC membership, what’s the best way to stay up to date with all the latest offers?

Check your email’s spam filters

Spam is more than just a canned meat or Korean delicacy. It’s how email providers filter out those pesky unsolicited messages we don’t want. Annoyingly though, it’s also how many emails we really need, never seem to reach our inboxes. They act as a filter system guessing which emails we need and which ones we don’t. Unfortunately though they’re imperfect algorithms, which often channel useful emails into a ‘junk folder’. Which may explain why you never got that important invite or email from CSSC.

To make sure you’re receiving all our emails, whether notifying you about new offers or important changes to your membership, just check we’re in your ‘Safe Senders List’ with the following simple steps for Microsoft Outlook users.

  1. On the Home tab, click Junk, and then click Junk E-mail Options.
  2. Click ‘Add’ and enter our email address: headoffice@email.cssc.co.uk and click ‘OK’ then ‘Apply’.

Please note each system, whether Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or any provider will have slightly different procedures in place. A simple internet search should help you check your email provider’s steps.

Update your email preferences

Another reason you may not be receiving all our emails is, you may have unsubscribed from our mailing list at some point.

To avoid missing out on important account updates and our latest offers, we strongly recommend you visit our homepage, click on the drop down list next to your membership number, click on communication preferences and tick all four boxes. That way you’ll never miss another saving.

Browse the website regularly

You’ll always find all our latest and most popular offers and partners on our website. We’ll share our newest offers on our homepage, while other regular deals and discounts can be found on the simple tabs at the top of the page.

Change your hobbies and preferences

In the ‘my Interests’ tab of your membership drop-down box you can find all the sports and pastimes we offer. By ticking these you’ll remind us to keep you informed of any tickets, offers, events or activities you might be interested in.

Check each tab ‘Get Active’ ‘Things to Do’ & ‘Everyday Savings’ for the complete list of benefits.

Contact your Volunteer Team Leader

Our volunteers are the beating heart of CSSC bringing you loads of local offers and national events. Both our volunteers and Volunteer Team Leaders (VTLs) are a vital source of information who love to share their knowledge of all things CSSC with their members.

If you don’t know who your local volunteer or VTL is, you can find a list here.

But why stop there? Volunteering with CSSC is incredibly rewarding, giving you the skills and opportunities to grow, develop and share your hobbies. Why not explore our range of volunteering opportunities across the country.

Visit our social media channels

Our members are really active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. With not only national pages, but local groups too.

Social media is often the first place to find out all the latest news, competitions, prize draws and offers. And they’re great paces to meet and chat with like-minded people and communities, such as our cycling, running, swimming, walking and reading groups.

Following us is simple and you could win loads of great prizes and giveaways.
