Fylde Civil Service Golf Society | Blackpool & Fylde
About the offer
The Fylde Golf Society has around 35 members and organises 7 outings during the year from early April to early October with an average of 25 people attending each event. These are either 18 hole afternoon or 27 hole full day outings.
In addition there is a 2-day golf break organised by one of the members and assistance towards representing Fylde in regional and national golfing comps.
The membership subscription is £30 for 2022. Member’s subscriptions are used to subsidise the society’s activities and for nothing else. This along with the rebate received from Hassra means that if you attended all 7 events this season you would save over £60 on the cost of the events if you attended them independently. The Society is indebted to HASSRA Fylde and the CSSC for the support it receives from them.
The society is friendly, and our objective is for everyone to enjoy the golf outings. We have no formal dress code, but do adhere to the dress rules of the club we are visiting.
The program of courses varies every year and aims to offer many things such as good courses, easy travelling, affordable and/or good value and reflects what the members want.
We do have competitions at each event including ‘2s’ and nearest-the-pin, but this does not have to be taken too seriously, the main aim is to enjoy the whole day.
