A wet, winter day was the perfect time to be indoors attending the aromatherapy workshop. As we entered the room, there was an oil diffuser which smelled very welcoming and uplifting.
The day started off with a presentation giving an overview of aromatherapy and the properties of some of the key essential oils that are commonly used. This was really informative and gave us a good base to begin the workshop.
Throughout the day we made four items – a clearing balm, a candle, a body scrub and a sleep mist pillow spray. There were breaks for coffee and cookies in between sessions. Our workshop leader, Candy was great and it was clear it was a topic she was passionate about.
I left the course wanting to learn more about aromatherapy and keen to make more products using the recipes we took home from the session.
