We’ve put together a number of simple walking programmes that you can easily introduce into your busy schedule.

Beginner’s walking plan
Our beginner's walking plan is a great way to get started. Taking place over a six week period, you'll gradually increase the length of your walks and pick up lots of handy tips along the way.

Walk to run plan
Use this eight week plan to explore the delights of jogging and running. You’ll start with a 15 minute walk, and by the end of the plan you’ll be striding along with the best of them.

Ramblers routes
Ramblers has a great collection of over 2,500 inspiring routes for all abilities. These range from short urban strolls right through to challenging hillside walks.

MapMyWalk routes
Perfect for those of you who like to try something new. All you need to do is enter your location and choose your distance and type of walk and you're ready to get started.
