Step into 2020 with a Fab-uary half term

04th Feb 2020

Of all the half terms, February is often seen as the most frustrating break to entertain the kids. The weather’s still chilly, the evenings feel like they’re never going to get any lighter and the highly anticipated and much-needed summer holidays are still a long way off.

Fortunately, as a member of CSSC, you’re in good hands. We absolutely love our school holidays, because we understand the importance of making great memories, with our loved ones.

To help you explore the very best the UK has to offer, we’ve got some awesome new activities and adventures to share with you this year.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Our newest partner is the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. You may know Kew Gardens as a glorious collection of plants and fungi and a wonderful day out to explore nature’s most marvellous species. But did you know Kew Gardens is one the UK’s most impressive scientific research facilities? Spread over two impressive locations in Richmond, London and Wakehurst, Sussex, where PhD students from all around the world train for their doctorate.

In February, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is celebrating the magnificent biodiversity of Indonesia with their Orchid festival. Bringing together the culture and diversity of 17,000, south pacific islands. And you can now visit this amazing spectacle of colour for free, with up to three children, plus get 50% off entry for one other adult.

LEGOLAND, Windsor – Brick week

One of our favourite partners, especially around the school holidays, is Merlin attractions. With dozens of fantastic, family-friendly theme parks and experiences all over the country, there truly is something for everyone, just a short ride away.

Whether it’s SEA LIFE centres from Loch Lomond to Weymouth, the Edinburgh Dungeons, Blackpool’s Madame Tussauds or Warwick Castle, the thrills and spills of Merlin’s attractions will entertain your brood all year long.

For the first time ever, LEGOLAND are opening their doors early for Brick week. From 15-23 February, not only will they open 20 of their most awesome rides, but they’re hosting a special Brick Building activity for the whole family. And you can save 15% by booking through CSSC.

Miles of smiles

These are just two of our new highlights this half term. For loads more ideas and some great inspiration for keeping the kids, big and small, enthralled this February, check out Things to Do or keep your eyes peeled for half term holiday emails coming out soon.
