You are now able to download our digicard onto your smart phone and present this whenever you need to show your membership card at one of our partners. You'll no longer need to find an email with your card included.
The new card is easy to use and all our partners are ready to welcome you.
How to download the new digicard onto your smart phone*
- Go to the ‘Play Store’ for Android users or ‘App Store’ for Apple users, on your phone
- Search for ‘CSSC Sports and Leisure’
- Tap ‘Search’ and look for our blue and white, heart shaped logo
- Install and wait a few moments to upload
- Type in the email and password you use for our website, you can use Face ID or fingerprint authentication to store your password.
When you open the icon, you'll be presented with an image of your membership card with a rotating logo. This is to show you're an active member.
You'll also find four quick links to our website, taking you to Things to Do, Get Active, Everyday Savings and Nearby Benefits.
*Please note, the digicard is not available on Windows phones.
Using the digicard
Whenever you need to confirm your membership with one of our partners, simply tap on the digicard and present your phone. You’ll need access to wi-fi or mobile data, so you may prefer to tap the digicard before you set out, just in case the venue doesn’t have wi-fi. The card will remain open on your phone for 72 hours and can be re-opened at any time.
Why we’re making this change
Back in January 2019 we launched our first digicard, whereby we removed the need for a physical card and instead, emailed a copy of your card in our regular communications. This has been a tremendous success and helped us, not only reduce plastic waste, but also allowed our members to access our partners’ sites, without having to remember their card.
This new phase of the digicard removes the need to search for and keep your emails, and places immediate access to our website at the touch of your finger.
