Spooktacular Celebrations at Halloween

09th Dec 2019

At the end of October directly after the Eastern Conference, many members went to Caley Hall in Norfolk to celebrate Halloween!

Over 30 people attended. We experienced a fabulous three-course dinner followed by a disco.

The staff at Caley Hall also judged the best two costumes with the first prize receiving a trophy and bottle of fizz and second prize a bottle of wine. The best costumes that were seen included witch doctors, red devils, pumpkins and witches!

Everyone said they had a great night and that it was one of the best Halloween events the region had done.

The highlight

Denise Speakman, organiser of the event, said: ‘The highlight has to be our Chair dancing to the Dirty Dancing song… but unfortunately he didn’t make the lift!

‘I want to say a thank you once again to Caley Hall for hosting the event and my CSSC colleagues in assisting me with the event.

‘The date for next year is October 31. So save the date for 2020!”
