Eleven people came together on Saturday, 16 November to enjoy a Christmas Crafternoon Tea at Riverside Beads in Market Deeping.
The ages ranged from 12-years-old up to ladies of retirement age – in fact, three generations of the same family came to enjoy the fun!
The day started by making a beaded star and a variety of Christmas charms followed by a delicious afternoon tea provided by a local tea shop. After lunch we made a bracelet, earrings and another charm.
Learning something new
Donna, our instructor for the day made it a fun experience, despite the fact that most people were learning new skills. Everyone was able to take home their creations and feedback from those who attended described it as a brilliant day.
One Eastern member said: ‘There was a fantastic company of all ages and abilities and it was a good laugh. The afternoon tea provided was as good as any high-class hotel could provide and well worth the reasonable price.’
