A Fond Farewell to Alan Hall

06th Oct 2020

Alan has been a prominent figure of CSSC volunteering in the South West Region since 1985, epitomising the concept ‘volunteering should be fun’. Before volunteering for CSSC, Alan held the Role of Secretary for DSRA for a number of years, he was the South West Region Chair who also greatly assisted with Treasurer matters, followed by Area Representative and most recently Centenary Lead.

Alan has decided to step down from his volunteering role with CSSC to pursue a volunteer role as one of the Directors for the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum. Alan has the quality to spread enthusiasm, and has an astoundingly positive effect on those around him, he will be greatly missed by friends and colleagues at CSSC. We want Alan to know how much we have enjoyed volunteering alongside you, and let you know how highly thought of you are. Your sense of humour and zest for life has brightened many a day! Thank you for all the laughs, and your efforts for CSSC over the years, we appreciate, and salute you Alan Hall, whilst at the same time reminding you that it is your round!

The very best wishes from CSSC go to you, and we wish you good fortune in your new role, we hope that the museum benefits from having you around as much as we have.
