For anyone with kids at school, the summer holidays often loom like a storm cloud over the order and calm of term-time routine. But while we might fret over how to keep them busy for so long, there’s something wonderful that happens over the course of the summer holidays; you get to unwind and spend time together.
Spending time with your children over those long, summer days can end up creating some of the richest memories of your lives. If you’re not planning on taking the family on a holiday abroad or to the seaside, or perhaps you are but there’s still time for more fun. So why not browse through the exciting events, offers and discounts CSSC have scheduled for July and August.
When it comes to events, CSSC has got everyone covered from the adventurous explorer to the budding chef, and everything in between. Go Ape Tree Top Adventures at a variety of locations are offering CSSC members a discounted entry price of £18, versus the non-member price of £33. Another one for the younger kids and the final trip in the CSSC Summer programme is a day at The Forbidden Corner in Darlington. With tunnels, chambers, follies and gardens to explore, the day starts at 9:30am returning by 6pm, and includes a trip to nearby Middleham Castle all for only £8 at the discounted member price.
And if, like many, July will be spent at work, then never fear. As per usual CSSC events and taster days offer a wide range of adult-only activities on weekends, including shopping trips, wakeboarding, guided walks, concerts and winery tours.
