Bring Fitness Into The Office

Encouraging and incorporating a healthy lifestyle during the working day can play a big role in achieving a better work/life balance, and help to improve general health, productivity and feelings of happiness. The health and wellbeing of staff is at the heart of everything CSSC Sports & Leisure does, so keep reading for real life examples of what our members have organised in their offices to get staff moving.

Activity ideas

At CSSC head office, we booked out a meeting room for lunchtime exercise classes for staff, but with a little bit of planning, the world is your oyster with what exercise employees can do at lunchtimes or even after work

  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Stretch and tone class
  • Circuit training
  • Gym ball class
  • Pedometer walking
  • Badminton training
  • Football tournament
  • Boxercise classes
  • Table Tennis
  • Netball

Like the idea but funding is an issue?  Through our physical activity fund, we have supported numerous offices to get their staff moving.  Could your office be next?
