Do you need a bit of help to get it off the ground? Do you find that you sometimes lack motivation? Would doing them with friends, family or colleagues help?
Have you heard of CSSCs Physical Activity Fund?
Physical Activity Fund
The Physical Activity Fund is a new funding opportunity for any CSSC member to trial a new physical activity with friends, family and work colleagues on a local level across the UK. Whether it's starting up a lunchtime exercise class in your workplace, organising weekly badminton sessions locally or even putting on a family fun day, the Physical Activity Fund can help!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get you, your friends and colleagues active. Funding is limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis to whoever successfully meets the fund's criteria below.
What can CSSC fund?
A one-off activity or an ongoing activity for up to 8 weeks. Once the activity has ended, the success will be evaluated and you will need to think about how you can further support the activity for participants once it has ended
An activity that directly benefits both CSSC members and prospective members
Start-up costs e.g. the purchase of non-personal equipment, venue hire costs, coach/instructor fees, promotional materials

Table Tennis initiative – we have been working with a number of National governing bodies in Wales and we have agreed a package with Table Tennis Wales for a Table Tennis Table and equipment to help you get started. The funding for this would be through the physical activity fund above and again we would help support anyone with the process that was interested.
Over To You – let us know what ideas you have that you want to get started and we can see how we can help!
