Give Voice to Our Values
Enter CSSC's second short story competition
Wow us with your creative writing skills to win a prize worth up to £180!
After the huge success of our first writing competition, 100 Words for 100 Years, we're giving our members another chance to wow us with your literary prowess.
We hereby invite you to submit a piece of writing, about anything you like, that gives a voice to one of CSSC's four company values:
Our four core values underpin who we are as an organisation and all that we do. We'd therefore really love to hear how our values resonate with our members. We're so looking forward to reading your stories and, if it's anything like the last writing competition, we know we're in for a treat!
So, choosing just one of our values above as your writing prompt, please pen us a tale of your choosing. It can be a personal account of something in your life or a piece of creative writing - our only request is that your story is in prose (so no verse or poetry). The rest is completely up to you!
Prizes worth £300

How to enter
The piece must be between 400-600 words and can be fiction or non-fiction, as long as it's related to one of our values, which you'll indicate in the submission form. Your submission must be prose - so no poems or song verses, please.
Only entries submitted before 30 September 2021 will count.
