I CSSC is to support a Red Sea 'live-aboard' scuba diving trip to take place from 12 -19 June 2020. The Vessel will be Blue Adventurer, part of the Blue O' Two fleet operating out of Hurghada Egypt, and the itinerary will be the 'Northern Wrecks & Reefs' tour. To include - Fights and Egyptian visa included, normally flights are from Gatwick Airport. Prices are based on two people sharing a cabin. Blue Adventurer can accommodate up to 26 divers in a combination of Twin cabins and Doubles, all with en-suite facilities and air conditioning. Solo travellers must be prepared to share a Twin cabin. As far as possible Blue O'Two will allocate cabins on a same sex basis. The price includes all meals on board the boat; also tea/coffee/water/soft drinks & snacks, plus 6 days diving with 12 litre cylinder and weights.
Additional dive courses are available and a scuba review if required, at additional cost to the participants.
Prices do not include any tips to the crew, Blue O'Two recommend, £30 for crew and £30 for guides. This is traditional but optional.
On a seven night CSSC trip, there will be six days diving. First day - 2 or 3 dives, whilst on days 2 to 5 there will be up to four dives per day depending on the itinerary and weather conditions. On the final day, there is normally 2 divers before returning to Hurghada.
Divers need to be qualified to PADI Open Water (OW) level plus 4 logged dives, but to dive on the SS Thistlegorm a minimum of 20 logged dives is required. Participants will require travel insurance that also covers diving to the relevant qualified maximum depth. Equipment hire and NITROX is available at a supplement from Blue O'Two. Dive computers and Deployable Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) are also required.
Please ensure that you have at least 6 months validity on your passport from your date of return to the UK (19 June 2020).
A deposit is required on booking. Full payment is due by 12 April 2020.
