7:00PM - 6:00PM

The Shropshire Hills are the ideal location if you’ve not done Hill Walking before, a great opportunity to try something new.  The qualified walk leaders will show you how to go and make the walk safe and enjoyable.  If you are an experienced Hill Walker you will have the opportunity to suggest a walk to the leaders or you may fancy pushing yourself by trying a longer, more difficult walk than you normally would attempt.

Whether you come on your own or bring some friends, there is always a welcoming atmosphere that will make the weekend all the more entertaining. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people who all share the same outlook.

We will be staying at the HF house on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast basis.  This includes a full English or Continental breakfast and a three course dinner in the restaurant and a Picnic Lunch.

Also included in the cost are walk leaders, to help you get the most out of the weekend.

The weekend will start on the Friday night by checking in to the hotel from 2.30pm to settle in and enjoy the facilities before dinner.   Afternoon tea will be served between 4 and 5 pm

Saturday morning we meet for a hearty breakfast at 8am before we split into our chosen group for the decided walks.  On completion of the walk, following a well needed shower, we meet for dinner at 7pm.

Timings for the Sunday will be about the same, with Monday being a chance to pack, say your goodbyes and prepare for your journey home.
