Little and often
Welcome to your beginner cycling plan. This 30 mile schedule is perfect for newbie cyclists. It uses a ‘little and often’ approach, which means you’ll be able to gradually build both your stamina and saddle time.
Your big challenge
Each week consists of a series of regular rides, finishing every Sunday with a big challenge. But don’t worry, we’ve built in lots of rest time to help those muscles recover!
If you’re already used to cycling short distances, why not start at Week Five and take on some slightly longer rides? The key thing is that you tailor the plan to totally fit your needs and ability.
Listen to your body
It’s really important that you listen to your body. If you feel exhausted after your first few rides, then rest up until the next week, and try repeating that week again.
