CSSC Local | Volunteering
CSSC knows that volunteering can help make a real difference to not only your own life, but the lives of those around you. As coronavirus continues to develop in the UK, volunteering has become an even more important part of the community, to help those in need through this difficult time.
Opportunities to Get Involved
There are loads of ways to get involved and plenty of organisations, including CSSC. If you’ve not volunteered before it may seem daunting and you may not know where to begin. But whether you’re looking to volunteer with CSSC, and external organisations or simply helping your neighbours through this time, the suggested links below will help to point you in the right direction.
Here are some great tips on getting involved with volunteering, provided by NVCO & AgeUK:
External Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteer centres are local organisations that help existing and potential volunteers within the local community. They are a great place to start if you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity in your local area.

Opportunities with CSSC
We’re always looking for new volunteers to help our organisation. We have opportunities all over the country, so whether you’re looking to run a new activity or learn a new skill, there’s sure to be something for you. You don’t need any previous experience or be an expert. You just need bags of enthusiasm and a sense of fun.
During this time, we’re looking for more volunteers to take on our ‘virtual volunteer’ opportunities. So, if you’re interested in connecting local members through virtual events, such as: coffee mornings, quizzes, wine tasting or crafts, then please find out more and register your interest.
If you’re considering volunteering with CSSC, but would like information about other roles that are available, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our volunteer page to find out more.
