When is the CSSC Games?
The 2017 CSSC Games will be held on the 15 September at Loughborough University. Accommodation and evening entertainment will be available on the 14th and 15th September. The competition will take place on the one day only.
Can I enter the CSSC Games?
Anyone who is a CSSC member can enter the CSSC Games, to become a CSSC member please click here for more information.
Can I bring a friend?
CSSC has opened its membership to linked members where a qualifying member can “link” up to 3 friends/family to their membership. We have also extended our membership to the Public Sector. Please click here to find out more information. So, as long as your friend or relative is a member, they can attend/enter.
What events are on offer?
Outdoor archery, art competition(any media), team badminton, mixed basketball, eSports, fencing, men’s masters football, men’s open football, Go Karting, golf (pairs), mixed hockey, indoor games (quiz, scrabble and dominoes), ladies netball, photography, mixed rounders, squash, table tennis, tennis, mixed touch rugby.
How many sports can I enter?
Due to the number of sports available and the number of entries we receive it is only possible to enter one sport at the CSSC Games.
What is the cost?
The cost for the CSSC Games is an all-inclusive price. The price includes accommodation, dinner, bed and breakfast, sport and lunch on the Friday, entertainment and facilities. The cost, however, will vary depending on what accommodation you require. There are 2 types of accommodation, single ensuite and single standard. 

It is important to remember that the dining facilities are arranged in accordance with the accommodation, if teams want to eat together they must all stay in the same type of accommodation.

* Please note that a supplement is applied to those participating in Golf or Karting at the CSSC Games. Please see individual event pages for full details.
Can I come for the day?
Yes you can come just for the day; you will need to pay the Day Visitor Rate prior to coming which is £20 (£25.00 for those applying for Golf and £35.00 for Karting) per person, per day and includes entry fees, lunch, entertainment and facilities.
How do I apply?

From the CSSC Games home page click on the relevant sport and download the booking form. Please complete the form in full and send to the CSSC Games team prior to payment (via email or by post- details on the form). Once your entry has been confirmed payment will be required to secure your space.

How do I pay?

There are 3 methods of payment.

To pay by credit card or debit card please contact a member of the Event Team on 01494 888438, 439, 434, 407, 417 or 402. There are no additional charges for paying via this method. We unfortunately cannot accept American Express.

Please quote CSSC Games and relevant sport when making a card payment.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘CSSC Ltd’ and should accompany the entry form. Please do not send cash.

Please quote GAMESARCHERY followed by YOUR SURNAME as a BACS Reference.

When will I receive confirmation of my place? 
Once payment and online entry is completed an acknowledgement email will be sent to the email address we have on file for you. 
When will further details be sent out?
A ‘final details’ info pack will be sent to all attendees around a month prior to the event which will include map of the campus and some general information about the event. Separate event mail outs will also be distributed around this time with confirmed schedules and reminder of the rules.
What time do I need to arrive? 
Competitors are asked to arrive from 4pm on Thursday 14 September and sports will commence from approximately 9.30am on Friday 15 September.
What is the standard of play, will I / we be good enough?
The CSSC Games is open to all members regardless of their standard. The sports organisers arrange their competitions with this in mind. We do get some members who enjoy their sport at a high level but the majority just want to be a part of the CSSC Games and enjoy themselves.
What happens if I want to play but can only get half a team together, or if it just me that wants to play?
This is a common occurrence, we often have teams who are incomplete and will as a result we make up composite teams. Get in touch with the Event Team and we will do all we can to match part entries, enabling you to take part.  
Is parking available, if so, is there a cost?
Parking is available in the Loughborough University campus and there’s no charge as this is included in your entry fee.
Will I be able to get 'special leave' to attend the CSSC Games?
Presently within the civil service, time off is increasingly becoming an issue. Special leave can only be granted at the discretion of your line manager.
Apart from the events, what else does the CSSC Games have to offer?
The events are a large part of the CSSC Games but having a good time is also a big a part of what takes place. There is entertainment provided on the Thursday and Friday nights. Friday night is the 'main event' and will have a theme that is to be confirmed. Alternatively there will be a quiet bar available to enjoy a drink and a chat with your team.
