I have arrived on campus via the West Entrance and parked in car park 1. What do I do now?

All competitors will now need to register at the Games Control Room located in the Elvyn Richards (Village) common room. We advise you to either wait for the shuttle minibus service or to follow the signs and marshals located between the car park and the control room.

I have arrived on campus via the East Entrance. What do I need to do?

All competitors will need to park in car park 1. Car park 1 is clearly signposted from all the main roads on Loughborough Campus. Once parked, competitors will need to register as normal.

I have registered and collected my keys. Do I need to register for my sports competition?

Sports registration will take place at the sporting venues on the first morning of competition (Friday). Team Captains can register a team if appropriate. All sporting venues are marked on the CSSC Games Map. A minibus service will be available on Friday to take competitors to and from their sporting venues. These will depart from the Games Control Room and will follow a set route around campus.

Where do I eat my meals?
This depends on the hall you have been allocated. Faraday Hall residents will dine in the Rutherord Restaurant. Royce and Rutherford Hall residents will dine in the Elvyn Richards Dining Hall. Cayley Hall residents will dine in the Cayley Dining Hall. All dining halls are clearly marked on the CSSC Games Map. Competitors staying overnight will eat breakfast and dinner here. A packed lunch will be delivered to sports venues.

I have had dinner. Is there anywhere I can go for a drink?

We have arranged entertainment at the students union on the Thursday and Friday evenings. Friday evening is our themed night and we have a DJ from 7pm. Alternatively, there is a bar in the students village for those who would prefer a quiet drink. This is located in the Elvyn Richards building.

My friend isn't arriving on campus until after 10.00pm. Is this is okay?
This is fine. However, the Control Room will not be open. They will have to go straight to the Whitworth Building to collect their keys and then register at their sport venue the following morning. The Whitworth Building has a 24 hour key collection service.

I am checking out of my room, when and where do I need to return my keys?

All keys must be returned to the Whitworth Building by 9.30am on the day of departure. Luggage can be stored at the Whitworth Building on Friday. Showers will be available to use in the Whitworth Building after play has finished on Friday. Alternatively, changing rooms will be available at each sporting venue.
