CSSC community lottery FAQs
What is the CSSC lottery?
The CSSC lottery is a new weekly lottery brought to you by CSSC Sports & Leisure. When you buy a ticket for £1 you will be entered into a draw to win cash prizes.
How do I play?
Simply visit the CSSC community lottery website and click on 'Play'. You can pay for tickets by Direct Debit or debit card.
How do I win?
All ticket numbers are made up of 6 single digits of any combination, including duplicates. To win, supporters need to match the numbers in order, including at a minimum the first or last 2 numbers, as shown below:
How much do tickets cost?
Each ticket costs £1/week. You can buy more than one ticket for each draw. At least 60p from every £1 ticket you buy will be spent on supporting the good causes of the lottery.
What information will I need to sign up?
Signing up is easy. We just need your name, email address, and postal address. We also need your date of birth to validate you are over 16.
What’s the purpose of picking numbers?
Many people have favourite or memorable numbers and some feel particular numbers are luckier than others. We allow you to choose a cherished set of numbers, whether that be your telephone number, date of birth or another number important to you. If you don’t want to choose your own numbers you can click the 'choose for me' button.
You can buy additional tickets for inclusion in the same draw and choose different numbers or the same six-digit "Game Number" for your additional tickets. Each ticket and additional ticket you buy will be unique when entered into the draw and has an equal chance of winning.
What are the odds of winning a prize?
Each ticket has a 1 in 56 chance to win a prize each week.
When will the first draw be?
The first draw will be on 8 May 2021 and then every Saturday at 8pm thereafter.
How do winners find out that they've won?
Every week, all winners will be advised by email. The winning number will also be published on the CSSC community lottery website and our Facebook and Twitter pages each week following the draw.
How will I receive my winnings?
Winners receive an email containing a link to your account to claim your winnings. Your winnings will be paid directly into your nominated bank account or you can choose to donate your winnings back to the good cause fund.
How do I pay?
You can either set up a monthly recurring payment plan via Direct Debit or payment card or pay for a block of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of weekly tickets on a non-recurring basis.
Please note, you cannot combine your CSSC community lottery Direct Debit payment with the Direct Debit for your CSSC membership subscription.
There is no commitment to stay in the lottery and players can choose to leave at any time. Unfortunately, we can't accept payments for a single week as payment processing costs would impact the amounts we could provide to prizes and the lottery fund.
Can I include my CSSC community lottery Direct Debit together with my CSSC membership subscriptions?
Unfortunately not. Because the lottery payments come to CSSC via our lottery partner, Gatherwell, it’s not possible to combine your payments.

How do I cancel my subscription/payments?
Head to the supporter section in your account then click on 'your tickets'. Above the tickets section the ‘remove tickets’ button gives you the option to select tickets you would like to cancel. Cancellation will take effect immediately.
