Lovely day out, we parked in Carisbrooke village and walked up to the castle. Lots to see, museum is very interesting, there is a cafe and you can also meet the donkeys that were used to operate the wheel to draw water from the well.
Very interesting site with lovely views across the Island. Free parking when you redeem your ticket upon entry to the castle.
