The perfect place to try mountain biking for the first time or to progress your skills, BikePark Wales is home to Kermit, the UK's longest and most exciting beginner descending mountain bike trail. A 5km true singletrack trail giving you the thrill of whizzing down the mountain in close proximity to the boundaries and trees in a safe course, expertly designed and built to manage your speed and build confidence.
You don't need to have all the gear to come and enjoy mountain biking at BikePark Wales, they rent premium Trek bikes for riders 114cm tall and upwards as well as safety equipment.
If you want to try downhill biking for the first time BikePark Wales offer an “uplift package” which includes bike hire, protective equipment and use of the mini bus uplift facility for half a day. We recommend this package for beginner riders who have some limited experience of off-road cycling.
The Uplift Package includes:
- Half day (2 hours 45 minutes) uplift pass allowing you to ride as many times as you wish.
- Access to Kermit, our green trail
