We have limited spaces for this trip on the Wherry Maud (one of the two remaining Wherry’s in East Anglia). The boat will depart from Womack Staithe, Ludham, sailing to Ranworth where we will stop for a meal at lunchtime (for an optional, extra cost).
Advice from the Wherry Trust; Please wear clothing and shoes suitable for a boat trip and bring waterproofs if there is a chance of rain. Sun block is advisable if hot weather is forecast. You may bring your own lifejackets if you wish; alternatively The Wherry Maud Trust will provide self-inflating lifejackets for all those on board.
Tea and coffee, plus biscuits or cake will be provided but please bring your own soft drinks. Toilet facilities on board are basic, with a flushing porta-potti in a curtained-off area in the rear of the hold. Wet wipes and anti-bacterial gel are provided for cleaning hands. Do take the opportunity of using on-shore toilets whenever possible, especially at the start of your trip.
