CSSC SPORTS AND LEISURE is a vibrant, dynamic organisation set up to provide our membership with a myriad of sporting and leisure activities. CSSC is the largest provider of corporate sports and leisure in the UK. Our 130,000 members are drawn from civil service departments, their executive agencies and related organisations, such as BT and Royal Mail.

We play an important role in improving the health and welfare of civil servants through encouraging teamwork and commitment within their working and leisure lives. Sponsored by the Cabinet Office, CSSC relies heavily on a large team of committed volunteers who are supported by Head Office personnel, including a team of regionally based BDEs. Work Experience Scheme

The best way to learn about what we do is to experience it first hand through one of our work experience schemes.

We run 3 month schemes over the year for undergraduates and graduates. Join our supportive teams and gain relevant training and experience in Personnel Management, Volunteer Management or Customer Services. You may also enjoy many social and networking opportunities by joining our volunteering workforce.

General knowledge of the Sports & Leisure Industry

Some work experience in an office environment is desirable

Benefits

This is an unpaid position. However, successful candidates will be reimbursed for travel expenses and will be paid lunch allowance throughout their work placement with us.
