CSSC Games 2011
15 & 16 September
The forthcoming CSSC Games will be the 5th event of its kind to be staged by CSSC Sport & Leisure and the 3rd to be staged at Loughborough University. The event is open to all CSSC members and the events are designed to cater for all standards of player, with an emphasis on taking part rather than playing excellence.
A total of 15 sports will take place over the 2 days. We see the return of favourites such as Netball, Hockey, Fencing, Squash, Badminton, Athletics, as well as a welcome return for masters football, women's' football, touch rugby, swimming and golf.
One event taking place in 2011 which is completely new to the CSSC Games is the dry triathlon. Come and see if you can row, cycle and run in succession! Members will be electronically tagged so that an overall time can be calculated. All events will take place on site, with the exception of golf which will be a 5 minute ride away.
There is a variety of accommodation on offer, all on site, from single ensuite, twin ensuite, and single standard rooms. All prices shown include not just the cost for the accommodation but all meals, entry into the event, evening entertainment and CSSC Games memento.
Two sets of prices have been displayed which are designed to encourage members to book early. Bookings made prior to the 30 April will be £10 cheaper than if made after this date. Book early and take advantage of this offer.
Although the sport on offer is an integral part of CSSC Games experience, it is also an opportunity to have fun! Evening entertainment will be provided on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Thursday night will be the 'main event' with a Hollywood movie theme with a red carpet and all the glamour of a Hollywood first night!
