Leaving the Civil Service?

If you are leaving the Civil Service you can still keep your membership.  If you are retiring on a Civil Service pension then you can have deductions made from your pension. When you retire, all deductions stop automatically unless you fill out a membership form and indicating that you wish to continue your membership. We need a second membership application form as we will need your pension reference number.

If you are not getting a pension, you will need to complete another application form to change your payment method from deduction from pay to direct debit. You can download a form from the website and you should complete sections 1-5.

Keeping your membership going is certainly worthwhile and is a simple process to put into place. If you have any other questions concerning membership you can always contact the CSSC Customer Service Team on 01494 888444.

Whether you are leaving the Civil Service or retiring, you can retain your CSSC membership. So however you use your membership, be it the sporting & leisure activities, the fantastic members' offers or both, you can still have great fun with CSSC! CURRENTLY A CSSC MEMBER?

To continue enjoying the benefits of CSSC membership you need to include CSSC on the deductions authority form included in your retirement pack.

If you haven't received a retirement pack from your employer, complete a CSSC Membership Form and send it to the FREEPOST address below. We will arrange for your pension office to deduct CSSC subscriptions from your pension.

If your pension office cannot deduct CSSC subscriptions from pension payments, or you would like to pay direct, you can pay annually by cheque or direct debit. Complete the enclosed membership form, and send it to the FREEPOST address opposite.

Do not assume that because you have subscribed via your salary, that your deductions will automatically be transferred to your pension; this is not the case.
