CSSC plays an important role in improving the health and welfare of Civil Servants through encouraging teamwork and commitment within our working and leisure lives.

We draw our membership from Civil Service Departments or Agencies, Royal Mail, BT, and other public bodies such as Museums, Research Councils or companies carrying out ex-civil service work.

We are a vibrant, dynamic organisation set up to provide our membership with a wealth of sporting and leisure activities. CSSC Sports and Leisure is owned and mainly run by its members, our success is based on the invaluable contribution of hundreds of volunteers who

  • help run CSSC clubs and sports grounds  csscgeneral_pic2
  • plan and organise sports and social events
  • manage area and departmental associations
