Welcome to the latest edition of your CSSC newsletter. As the nights are drawing in and Christmas is approaching, Now's also the time to maximise the benefits of your Countdown Members' Offers card - helping to reduce the cost of Christmas.
If you want to try something new, get active or perhaps do your bit to help others, why not take a look at the CSSC website and see if there's an activity that grabs your imagination, or perhaps an event you'd like to help with?
Many more people are now able to join CSSC and enjoy the same opportunities as you. These include all staff working directly for public sector bodies (e.g. NHS, teachers, fire fighters, police officers, armed forces and local government workers) as well as friends and family members under our new Linked Membership scheme.
So, if you want more CSSC events, activities and benefits and know people who are now eligible for CSSC membership, encourage them to join. Remember that you'll receive a £5 Sainsbury's Shopping Card for each and every new member you get to join.

New membership cards will be sent out in January. To ensure that you get yours, please check that we have the latest home address and contact details for you, and update your details here
Most members now know that they can retain their membership if they leave or change their job. However, you may not realise that, if you change jobs within the Civil Service, your CSSC deduction is not always automatically transferred to your new pay provider. Please check your pay slip carefully and don't get caught out!
