Welcome to this month's E-newsletter from CSSC London. Please read on and take a few minutes to look at our event calendar to find out more information about the range of activities on offer to all members within the region.

I hope that most of you are now aware that CSSC London has been restructured into four districts to enable more CSSC members to have greater access to local sports, leisure and recreational activities. This new set-up is by no means meant to restrict members to a particular district or to replace our current events programme. On the contrary, members can continue to participate in any London activity they wish and an additional district offering supplements our existing programmes. Please read below for more information about the new district set-up.

GREAT OFFER FOR CSSC MEMBERS

Commencing this month CSSC members who wish to join the Civil Service Club will be eligible for 12 months membership for just £20 (a saving of £32). Details of the exact location and what the Civil Service Club has to offer can be found at www.civilserviceclub.org.uk

If you are an existing member of CSSC and wish to take advantage of this offer you should contact the Civil Service Club direct by email www.membership@civilserviceclub.org.uk or by telephone 020 7930 4881. CSSC Games
The closing date for entries into the CSSC Games is 31 July 2011. If you want to take part in this fantastic event, don't forget to get your forms in soon! Civil Service Insurance Society is proud to once again be the main sponsor of The CSSC Games for 2011 and looks forward to another great sporting spectacle at Loughborough in September.

New London Districts
We want our London members to have greater access to sports and leisure activities which are more local to them, and to ensure this can happen we have restructured CSSC London into four new districts: North, South-West, South-East and Central.
London Districts Smaller
We are sure that this will help increase local CSSC opportunities for our London members, particularly as members can participate in or volunteer with as many CSSC activities as they can, in as many districts as they wish! CSSC Games 2011
The CSSC Games is returning once again in 2011 at Loughborough University on the 15th and 16th September. Included in the overall price is accommodation, all meals, competition entry fees, facilities and evening entertainment.  London members may also be able to claim a £60 subsidy on their CSSC Games booking!

Clubs

Civil Service Riding Club
The CSRC is a fun club for anyone who is interested in horses. We arrange a variety of ridden, non-ridden and social equine activities for all abilities from complete beginner to advance riding. Being part of a club means we can negotiate discounts and get access to places not available to the general public. Activities are primarily London (including Windsor) based, but occasional activities take place elsewhere. More information is available from our website
