CSSC has few paid employees, with the majority of the events that you as a member can access being run by volunteers. Each year, the Area Associations hold AGMs, where you can go along and support them, put forward new ideas for the coming year and also have your say on Area development. Keep an eye out on the Area Association pages for details of the upcoming AGMs.

Why not make 2012 the year that you try something new? The North West Region will be putting on a wide range of different sporting events, and you, as a member can take part in them. Why not sign up your friend or partner to take part as well, now that they can join CSSC? What's more, for 2012, the North West Region is heavily subsidising these events. Why not give it a go?

Chester Area Secretary Marjorie Owen has given 30 years' voluntary service to CSSC which is a wonderful achievement. At the Regional Conference last year, Marjorie was presented with a letter from CSSC's Chief Executive Marian Holmes.Read on to find out more about Marjorie.
