Welcome to May's E-newsletter from CSSC Eastern Region. Please read on and take a few minutes to look at our events calendar to find out more information about the range of activities on offer to all members, including an opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro! As you will see, our regional competitions have now started so please get involved by downloading the entry forms that are available on the website. CSSC members also now have a greater range of offers to take advantage of through Countdown, including a saving of up to 17% at Apple!

Colchester
The Eastern Region's planned Inter-Area Sports Festival was unfortunately cancelled this year due to lack of interest. However, Region was still able to send the one team that entered, from Colchester Area Association, to Potters Leisure Resort and enjoy the facilities and entertainment for free! Flying Taster Day

Kilimanjaro Challenge
For anyone who would like to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to test themselves, raise money for a great charity and to achieve a once in a lifetime experience, CSSC Eastern Region has formed a partnership with the charity, Climb Your Mountain. The trip will run from 4 - 14 November 2011 and will include a maasai tribe and local village visit as well as a safari. For more information contact Luke Roberts.

East Coast Yacht Division
At the beginning of the 2011 season we are offering Taster Sails, a Start Yachting experience and RYA courses of interest to the beginner and the more experienced.
