100th Eastern Region Council Meeting The 100th Eastern Region Council Meeting took place on Friday 10th December with the key item on the agenda being online shopping. All areas present at the meeting agreed to the concept and we are now looking to go live in the early spring. The Eastern Region Chairman also presented an award to Suffolk's Chairman, Gavin Palfrey, in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the local membership over the years. Flying Taster Day 19 May 2011 For only £25, CSSC members have the opportunity to take to the skies at Rochester Air Field, Chatham, Kent. CSSC Games 2011 The CSSC Games is returning once again in 2011 at Loughborough University on the 15th and 16th September. Kilimanjaro Challenge For anyone who would like to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to test themselves, raise money for a great charity and to achieve a once in a lifetime experience, CSSC Eastern Region has formed a partnership with the charity, Climb Your Mountain. The trip will run from 4 - 14 November 2011 and will include a maasai tribe and local village visit as well as a safari. Eastern Region Subsidy Scheme As a reminder, your Region is still operating their subsidy scheme for regional qualifying competitions, CSSC 'Open' events held on a national basis and other social and/or non-competitive Eastern Region events.
