A special gym offer has been arranged for CSSC members who wish to join the SouthBankClub in Wandsworth Road, SW8 2DL (6 minutes walk from Vauxhall). Members of CSSC who wish to become new members of the South Bank Club can do so for 12 months at the discounted rate of £20 per month (normal monthly rate is £39.50). The membership fee will include a £5 per month subsidy from CSSC London in respect of each new member for the same period. See here for more details.

The volunteer selection process for the 2012 Olympics & Paralympics is now underway with many applicants being asked to attend interviews. If any CSSC members do get selected to volunteer at the Games, we would love to hear from you as CSSC has allocated funding for volunteers to help with expenses. If any of you know any other civil servants who are not currently CSSC members and will be participating or volunteering at the Games, again get them to apply to us for funding!

The CSSC Games is returning once again in 2011 at Loughborough University on the 15th and 16th September.
