Volunteer Mileage Rate
The Volunteer Committee recently agreed to a change in the policy concerning the volunteer mileage rate. The change moves to a two rate system, one for petrol vehicles and another for diesel vehicles. The rates will be reviewed quarterly for implementation on the 1st January, April, July and October. This makes the system fairer, these rates will be applicable to all volunteers and competitors.
With effect 1st April 2012 the rates are as follows:Petrol Rate - 27p per mileDiesel Rate - 23p per mile
The rate of 5p per mile per passenger up to a maximum of £15.00 may be claimed for other competitors and or match officials travelling in the same car. See CSSC's guidance notes for expenses for a fuller explanation.
