CSSC Volunteer Recruitment Service - Volunteer required The Scottish Council is looking for a new treasurer. For more information click here.
Volunteer Mileage Rate The Volunteer Committee recently agreed to a change in the policy concerning the volunteer mileage rate. The change moves to a two rate system, one for petrol vehicles and another for diesel vehicles. The rates will be reviewed quarterly for implementation on the 1st January, April, July and October. This makes the system fairer, these rates will be applicable to all volunteers and competitors.
With effect 1st January 2012 the rates are as follows: Petrol Rate - 26p per mile Diesel Rate - 22p per mile

E-Learning Induction is an important part of making volunteers feel welcomed and valued. Starting as a new volunteer can be a daunting experience where everything and everyone is new. A good induction can help a new volunteer to understand what they are doing and to feel part of CSSC.
