Chairman's Christmas Message
It's been a very challenging but rewarding year for CSSC. We have seen some outstanding events staged throughout the months allowing thousands of members to enjoy a wide range of sporting activities some of which they have never tried before. As always this has been made possible by the tireless efforts of the volunteers who give up their own valuable time and in doing so make CSSC the huge success it is. I extend my immense gratitude to you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to a new year that brings with it the excitement of the next CSSC Games!

Regional Photos
We recently ran a competition to try and increase the number of local pictures on the Area pages of the website. Emails were sent to members from AAs who had no local pictures on their webpages. The competition was run in the following Regions: Yorkshire, North West, North East and Scotland. We had a huge number of entries for the competition from members in every Region and as a result, nearly every single Area page will have a local picture on it. The competition will open out to the rest of the Regions in the new year and we are also planning on holding more regular photography competitions.
Volunteer Mileage Rate
CSSC reviews the mileage every six months. As from 1 January 2011 the rate will remain at 22p per mile. The next review will be conducted in June 2011.
