CSSC Volunteer E-Learning programme
Training is an essential part of the CSSC's commitment to support its UK wide volunteer workforce.
Taking into account the importance of understanding volunteer's lifestyles, which can often mean they have commitments that make it harder for them to attend training courses CSSC has introduced a pilot e-learning programme.
E-Learning gives volunteers the freedom and flexibility to learn when and where they want and at their own pace. E-Learning offers CSSC the opportunity to offer volunteers up to the minute information and a standardised approach to training across CSSC.
Click on CSSC Learning to access CSSC's first E-Learning programme; a 20 minute module giving an insight into what should be considered to ensure a new volunteer receives an effective induction. Look out for the next module in December which will offer an explanation of roles and responsibilities associated with being a Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer.
