We need more volunteers!

How many times have you heard that cry? What you may not have heard about is an initiative at Head Office called Match & Place. We get a surprising number of members come forward who would like to volunteer with CSSC. That's the really good news. What we don't always know about is where or how those potential volunteers could best be used. Now that's where you come in. You know what your particular part of CSSC is trying to achieve. You know what sort of skills and experience you need from volunteers to help you achieve those aims.

We are building up a register of potential volunteers and known vacancies so we can Match & Place one with the other. So, if your affiliate group is crying out for more volunteers, please let us know. We can then see if anyone fits the bill and put them in touch with you. That way we can match the volunteer and place them in the right vacancy - right for you and right for them.

How do you let us know about volunteer vacancies? That's easy, there are lots of ways - you can speak with your BDE or BDA, complete our simple "Get Involved with Volunteering" form or contact Jennifer.fell@cssc.co.uk 01494 888 451 at Head Office who is overseeing this work and who would be delighted to hear from you.
