Meet the Team
CSSC Volunteer Development Manager
Hedley Featherstone fulfils this important role. Hedley has been with CSSC since April 1991 during which time he has gained considerable volunteer management experience working with Regional Councils and Sports Bodies as well managing the BDEs.
The main purpose of the role is:
- To ensure CSSC is at the forefront of volunteering good practice.
- To continually review and re-direct the support CSSC gives to its volunteers.
- To provide secretarial support to the CSSC's Volunteer Committee
Hedley supports CSSC volunteers by working and liaising with affiliated associations, clubs and councils. He is a key source of support and guidance on volunteering matters. Management Board
The CSSC Management Board is responsible for formulating and overseeing CSSC policy and supervising the conduct of CSSC's business. The members of the Management Board are all elected volunteers. Click here for more information on the Management Board
Volunteer Committee
The Volunteer Committee is responsible for volunteer policy, volunteer recognition and initiatives to help with recruitment and retention of CSSC's volunteer work force. Click here for more information on the Volunteer Committee
Event Team
The Event Team is responsible for providing national sports and leisure events, including managing National Sporting Finals and Open Championships. The Event team works in unison with regional organisers to provide qualifiers and other events for the respective regions. Click here for more information on the The Events Team
