The South and South East held a very successful one day conference at Chadwick St, on the 22 November with all but one Area in attendance, a total of 42 Area Reps. The highest turnout for a number of years
The main topics for discussions were On-line Shopping, and What have you done / Are planning to do as an Area.
David Hayday presented On-Line Shopping, and all the Areas agreed that the Region should join the scheme at the earliest opportunity.
The mood around the room was very positive with the Areas reporting back that they had held numerous activities and had many more planned.
There was a good feeling of Areas working together for the benefit of the member, which is a great leap forward.
Next conference planned for 8 - 9 May 2011 at the Ramada Hotel, Gatwick.
