All CSSC Area Association Officers received an important mailing recently. The mailing forms part of a strategic push by CSSC to better manage its affairs, finances and programme for members, whilst at the same time helping volunteers by providing information and structures that are clear, relevant and straightforward. The pack, under cover of a letter from our Chairman David Bell, included a: -

All Area volunteers are activity encouraged to discuss the contents of the mailing at their Committee meetings, to undertake the actions outlined in the pack and work towards the Roles & Responsibilities document to the fullest extent possible. Remember, for those Areas without clubs, the updated constitution should be an item of business for your forthcoming AGM. As the year progress, similar work will be started in respect of Departmental Associations; all of this falls under Task 21 of CSSC's Strategic Plan.
