London Olympics and Paralympics 2012

Are you hoping to be a Gamesmaker or do you know an aspiring Olympian or Paralympian? Find out how CSSC intends to support the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

Participants

First of all, CSSC wants to provide tangible support (financial and otherwise) to all members and employees across CSSC's membership catchment embracing all parts of the Public Sector, the Civil Service and HM Armed Forces. selected to participate at London 2012. Whilst this may include some colleagues selected for the Olympics, more likely it will include a greater number selected for the Paralympics where less full-time funding is generally available.

If you or someone you know from within CSSC's catchment is aspiring to be at The London 2012 Games, we want to hear about it! Please contact us at: hedley.featherstone@cssc.co.uk  and also ask other members, via your own communication channels, newsletters etc to get in touch.

Volunteers

Once again, CSSC wants to provide tangible support (both financial and otherwise) to all employees across its catchment selected as a volunteer for London 2012. We may be able to provide you with some financial help in terms of travel and subsistence to attend your interview as well as training and test events.. As with the potential participants, the level of this support will very much depend both on individual circumstances/needs and the total number of members and employees who apply for help.
