Volunteer Profiles
Every couple of months we will profile a different volunteer, to find out about the different ways members have found to give their time to CSSC and the enjoyment they gain from volunteering.
This month, Raj Shah, explains what it means to him to be a volunteer with CSSC
At a recent CSSC men's cricket rep match CSSC Volunteer Raj Shah was proud to receive his Certificate of Recognition for his invaluable contribution to CSSC cricket.
Raj whose enthusiasm and commitment exemplifies everything which is commendable about CSSC volunteering has never sought recognition for the time and effort he expends on behalf of CSSC. However, CSSC CEO Marian Holmes' presentation to him was much valued and also witnessed by Raj's family who were there on the day to participate in the recognition of a highly valued CSSC volunteers.
Raj's involvement with CSSC and RCSL cricket dates back to the 1970s and includes a variety of voluntary roles.
