Roles and Responsibilities

Elected at Association Annual General Meeting
Who will I be responsible to? Association Committee
Who will I report to? Association Chairperson

Current tasks include:
Select the team in accordance with the Association's/Club's selection policy.
Ensure players are appropriately dressed (including wearing club 'kit').
Welcome visitors and encourage fair play at all times.
Ensure that refreshments (drinks and biscuits) are provided for home matches.
Ensure that the match card is sent to the league match secretary on time.
Be aware of and act on club accident, incident and evacuation procedures.
Agree to and act on the Club's Child Protection and Equity policies and Codes of Conduct.
Attend club and other appropriate meetings as and when required.

How much time will I need to give? This will be determined by the number of fixtures.
Expenses The Association will reimburse agreed out of pocket expenses.
Is this volunteer opportunity open to disabled persons? Yes. CSSC with all its constituent groups, fully supports the principles and the spirit of equal opportunities and is committed to ensuring that all individuals are treated fairly and on an equal basis.

What else can you tell me about the role? It is preferable as the Team Captain if you have an outoing personality coupled with good organisational and leadership skills.
