Clive Arnold - Certificate of Recognition

Congratulations to Clive Arnold who has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition.

Clive has built the Dover & Folkestone Area Association into the most successful Area Association in the South East Region through the introduction of innovative ideas.

Having ascertained that the remote location of the Dover & Folkestone Area Association could be negated through an ongoing contract with the right coach operator through a firm called Buzz Lines, the Area Association now offers members beneficial travel and entry to leisure activities in both London and the Continent at costs that are simply unachievable to any non member.

To achieve more area events than any other South or South East Area Associate, Clive has trained and delegated each trip to a growing band of volunteers. While Clive is on hand to advise, volunteers enjoy the satisfaction of organising "their" events.

If it had not been for Clive, the Dover & Folkestone area would have suffered from being isolated in the South East corner and event participation would be expensive for members. The number of members in this Area Association would have continued to decline without Clive.

Clive is now a fully active member of the newly formed South and South East Management Board and his skills are now being passed on to other area associations in the south and south east regions.
