Men Take to the Court - Tennis Results

We managed to play the Yorkshire Tennis on 8 June, although it was quite cold, but with no rain. Fleeces would have been more appropriate prizes than polo shirts for the winners!

Results:

Men's Singles: Peter Ellwood (HSE Sheffield) beat Jez Catchpole (MOD York)

Veteran Men's Singles: Pete Moss (JCP Leeds) beat Malcolm Southam (Prison Service Northallerton(Ret))

Men's Doubles winners were Pete and Nick Moss, JCP Leeds

All events played as a round robin. Jez Catchpole was a first time entrant, as was Nick Moss who was the youngest player. Pete and Nick are father and son.
