22/23 April 2008

Yorkshire were represented by Ian McNeil (Ripon), Ken Middlemiss (Catterick), Gordon Walker and John Backhouse (York) and came close to reaching the final. After beating North East in the round robin stage they needed to win their last game and North East to lose or draw  theirs. On the last end in both games, North East were 11- 9 up, but 2 down on the head and Yorkshire needed 4 to win. The North East Skip fired and killed the end and being out of time, won by 2 shots.
