Yorkshire Area Civil Service Bowling Association - Flat Green.

The qualifying rounds for the English Civil Service Bowling Association Championships are open to all male Civil Servants including those who are retired and are members of the Civil Service Sports Council. Recent adjustment to the rules now allows those who do not hold membership to apply via the relevant form (available from Tony Adams on 0191 225 2890) which deducts a small monthly payment from their civil service pension and thus be eligible to take part.

The competitions are singles, pairs, triples and fours which are played on a challenger and opponent basis with the challenger offering the dates and having choice of venue. These qualifying rounds take place in May, June and July culminating in the area finals at the Bert Keech Bowls Club, York, on 3rd August

The national finals take place at Leamington in late August.
