Event Description West Riding and Craven Area would like to invite CSSC members to attend a day trip on the Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria Railway.
There are a number of Real Ale pubs on or near to many of the stations on this line and the trip was featured in a recent TV show with James Mays and Oz Clarke.
In order to travel with us you will need to get a Day Ranger ticket. Please be clear and ask for a South Pennines Day Ranger for the Rail Ale Trail on the Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria Railway.
The price of a ticket is £14 and you can hop on and off the train as many times as you like between the stops. The day ranger can be used between Manchester Victoria and Bradford Interchange on the above line and after 8.45am. There is a further discount for rail card holders.
If you wish to join us please e-mail Ihor Lewyk with your CSSC membership number and let him know you are going to meet up. All West Riding and Craven CSSC members will get £5 towards their meals. You must get to the Head of Steam pub, St George's square, Huddersfield HD1 1JB by 12.00noon and make yourself known to Ihor Lewyk who will arrange a meal voucher for you.
