What is CSSC?
Why should I be a Member?
CSSC Sports & Leisure provides health, fitness, sport, leisure and members' offers to the whole of the civil service and other bodies, such as executive agencies, and related bodies including BT and Royal Mail and has well over 120,000 members.
Did you know?
That the Leeds Area Association covers Harrogate, Wetherby, Wakefield and everywhere inbetween? If you live or work within the association boundaries then you are classed as a local member and can access all the offers and activities. The Leeds Association funding is calculated according to the number of members who work within its boundary (home address if retired).
Free Prize Draws
Have you entered the draws for any or all of the following?
• Leeds Rhinos tickets (2 pairs available)
• Leeds United (1 pair in NE stand)
• Yorkshire Cricket (tickets available for every home days play).
One member will be drawn out a week in advance for the each game to win two tickets for one of the home games for Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos.
If you want to be entered into the draws, all you have to do is send an email to keith.gorst@highways.gsi.gov.uk ensuring you give your CSSC number, your contact details and the draws you wish to enter. You can enter them all!
To enter the draw for the Yorkshire Cricket tickets, please send an E-mail with “CRICKET” in the title to steve.bishop@highways.gsi.gov.uk stating your full name, CSSC number, Department name and contact phone number. Please also state clearly which matches you are interested in attending – for instance, only 20/20, 20/20 and one day, or all matches – and when you would wish to use the membership – eg weekend only, weekend and evenings, or any time. Finally, can you please indicate whether you would be interested in using the memberships at Scarborough (matches played 10 – 14 July and 17 – 21 August) or just Headingley. Apologies for the added complications, but this should ensure that the tickets are used as often, and by as many members, as possible.
Applications will be accepted up to 7 days before each game but get them in now!

Make it Happen
CSSC Sports & Leisure is run by its members for its members. A small number of staff are employed as we prefer to return the subscription income to you – the member!
Have you ever thought of becoming a local volunteer?
You could represent your office, your department, organise an activity or run a one-off event, such as a theatre trip. Your Area Association has the financial resources to run a full calendar of events, but needs volunteers to help plan, organise and run these activities. You can contribute as much or as little time as you like. Any help you can offer is welcome. Contact one of the committee members listed below for more information on becoming a volunteer.
