Forthcoming ideas

1. Glamorgan County Cricket Tickets: With the cricket season fast approaching the Regional committee thought it a good idea to invest in some tickets which can be loaned out to members via their areas for games.

Throughout the season, Glamorgan play their home fixtures at four venues around Wales, and the idea will be to have members from all over the region apply for the loan of these tickets for a match and return them in time to be passed onto the next applicant for the next match. The actual procedure has yet to be decided, but if you are interested in this project, keep an eye out for more information on the Welsh regional pages of CSSC web site.

2. E Gaming: For some time now, I have been receiving news from a group of 'E gamers' in Swansea who are avid players! E Gaming is a fast growing interest and CSSC has recognized nationally that members are showing an interest in being involved in this past time. So much so, E Gaming events have taken place at Newcastle and Reading. But the beauty of this is that whilst there is the opportunity of holding such events, matches or games can also be played from the comfort of your own home!

The region is currently trying to secure funds to start an E Gaming library and possibly a regional event later in the year which may lead to an annual event. Over the next few months keep a look out on the Regional pages for further information on this project.
